Dock rash, a dropped anchor, a hard landing: it happens. We repair scratches, chips, oxidation and structural damage, match the color to your boat, and blend the repair into a smooth, glossy finish that holds up to sun and salt.

The hard part is the match. Gel coat fades with age, so a boat is rarely the color it left the factory. We match what is on your boat today, then blend the edges so the eye has nothing to catch.

Why not leave it?

Gel coat is the waterproof skin over your fiberglass. A chip or crack can let water reach the laminate underneath, and a small repair is far easier than a large one. It also protects the look and resale value of the boat.

Should I fix gel coat or paint the boat?

Localized damage usually calls for gel coat repair. If the whole surface is worn, painting may be the better answer. We also paint hulls and topsides with premium marine coatings like Awlgrip and Alexseal.
